The Future Forces Forum is one of the best places to inform yourself about the latest and cutting-edge technologies. And this year it was mostly about drones and anti-drone technology. Since a lot of innovation in real warfare gets its copy in airsoft we were looking at the forum from that perspective. Drone warfare in airsoft is on the rise, cheaper smaller drones for the recon and even bigger with thermal cameras that are expensive are already on the fields.
The other thing that caught our attention was the plate-carriers (later pc). All pc-s on this forum were beefed up due to rising injuries from shrapnel. That is something that gives you no bonus if you wear in airsoft match but it sure looks cool.
